Jason Douglas Panter age 50, passed away suddenly on October 31, 2024. He was born on November 9, 1973 in Yakima Washington to Susan Kristine Panter and was later adopted by Douglas Glen Panter. He was a graduate of Woods Cross High School.
His mom taught him a motto that he often repeated, and if he was here today would say "Chin up, you will make it through this, and remember you are always loved." He cared most for his son Braxton, who was his pride and joy. He enjoyed taking him swimming, fishing, camping, and his most recent adventure to the BMX bike park. Jason also had a passion for First Responders that he shared with his son. They often would spend time watching the Life Flight helicopters come and go. Another favorite of theirs was attending the Firefighter Challenge Competitions. He always dreamed of becoming a firefighter and loved supporting them. In 2017 he obtained his CDL and became an experienced truck driver over the last 8 years.
Some of his other hobbies were re-building cars, cooking, and especially grilling on the BBQ. He loved being outdoors and in the company of loved ones. He is known to give the "best" hugs and will be deeply missed. One of his greatest achievements was getting sober and being a part of the recovery community where he enjoyed playing sober softball for Liberty Addiction Recovery and became an advocate to help others.
Survived by Braxton Jason Panter (son), Douglas Panter (dad), Jared Panter (brother), Jea'Nott Wilson (sister), Amanda Herd, and Kyra Cowan.Preceded in death by his mother Susan Panter.
