Jason Raymond Sume

Our sweet Jason passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4th, 2009. He came to this earth on February 19, 1970 and was born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada to Alice Lowe and Danny McGillis.
He was adopted and sealed into the family of Raino and Mary Sume, originally from North Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The family later moved to Orem, Utah.
Jason was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a very quick learner fixing computers and other things around the house. Everything came so naturally to him.
He leaves behind many people who love him. His father, Raino Sume (deceased), his mother Mary Sume, his siblings and their spouses: David Sume, Debbie (Troy) Reynolds, Lori Sume, Gary (Jerri) Sume, Karen (Alan) Oakes, and Tracey Walker. His children: Chelsea Olsen, Caitlyn Olsen, Kolby Henrie, and Kiley Sume. His children know that they were his whole world. His birth mother Alice Lowe, her husband Rob Lowe, his brother Fletcher Lowe, and
birth father Daniel McGillis. His 5 nieces and 11 nephews also felt his love for them. He married Stefani Johnson in 1998 and they later divorced.
Jason had many friends where ever he went. He always had a big heart and was willing to help out family, friends, and those in need. He was a sweet and charming friend, son, brother, father, uncle, and husband. He will be missed by so many.

There will always be an empty space in our hearts until we see our Jason again. "Jason, this is not goodbye, but instead, let's just look forward to the day when we will all be together again."
The viewing will be Thursday, April 9, from 6-8 pm at the Sharon 3rd/4th ward chapel 445 S. 700 E. in Orem. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, at 10:00am at the Sharon Stake Center, 545 S. 800 E. in Orem. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at the same location. Interment at Orem City Cemetery.
