Jesus Martinez Mendez

Jesus Martinez Mendez, age 79, died fighting the battle against cancer on July 28, 2021 in his home in West Jordan, Utah surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 09,1941 in Michoacan, Mexico. Son of Rosa Mendez and late Jesus Martinez. He lived Mexico most of his adult life and then moved to Salt Lake City, UT.

Jesus was a farmer his entire life and loved nature and music as much as life itself. The joy of his life were his wife, Olivia Martinez and their nine children, Elena, Hector, Carolina, Carmen, Miguel, Gustavo, Jesus, Ana and Victor…as well as all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He brought joy and comfort with his smile and kindness to everyone in his path. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 at St. Therese Of the Child Jesus Catholic Church 7832 Allen St., Midvale, UT 84047. Rosary Prayer at 10:30 AM. Funeral services at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at West Jordan Cemetery 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan, UT 84084 at 1:00 PM. Please join us for lunch in memory of Jesus after the interment at 6805 S Dixie Dr. West Jordan, UT 84084. All friends and family welcome.

Jesus Martinez Mendez, edad 79 años, falleció en la batalla contra el cancer en julio 28, 2021 en su casa en West Jordan, UT rodeado de su amada familia.  Él nació el 9 de agosto de 1941 en Michoacan, Mexico. Hijo de Rosa Mendez y finado Jesus Martinez. Él vivió en Mexico la mayoría de su vida y eventualmente se mudó a Salt Lake City, UT. Jesus se dedico a la agricultura toda su vida lo cual amaba, al igual que la música.

Los amores de su vida fueron su esposa Olivia Martinez y sus nueve hijos, Elena, Hector, Carolina, Carmen, Miguel, Gustavo, Jesus, Ana and Victor…al igual que todos sus nietos (as) y bisnietos (as).  Él traía alegría y consuelo con su sonrisa y bondad a todo aquel que se cruzaba en su camino. Toda su familia que aun sigue en este mundo terrenal le va a a extrañar.

Los servios funerales serán el lunes, 2 de agosto del 2021 en St. Therese Of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 7832 Allen St., Midvale, UT 84047. Rosario a las 10:30 AM. Misa de cuerpo presente a las 11:00 AM. El entierro sera en West Jordan Cemetery 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan, UT 84084 a la 1:00 PM.  Por favor acompañemos para una merienda en memoria de Jesus después del entierro en 6805 S Dixie Dr. West Jordan, UT 84084.  Familia y amigos son bienvenidos.
