Jill Christensen

Jill Knight Christensen was reunited with her eternal companion Steven Christensen on May 12, 2010. Jill was born December 31, 1959 in Cedar City, Utah to Ruth and Ken Knight and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple December 14, 1979. Jill loved to laugh, bake cookies, share recipes, go on spontaneous vacations to Disneyland with her family, and to spend time with her 7 children. Jill loved children and devoted her life to raising a family and making sure they had every opportunity that she and Steve could give them. Jill served in many callings in her church and especially loved being in the Primary Presidency. Survived by her loving children, Mica, Jessica (and David Tanner), Zachary, Seth (and Alicia), Alexandria, Chelsea, and Samuel Christensen, and her grandchild Zoe Tanner, as well as her mother, Ruth Knight and her siblings, Karen (Steve) Hunter, Gerald (Trudy) Knight, Suzanne (David) Pearson, and Curtis (Korene) Knight. Preceded in death by her father Ken Knight and her husband Steve Christensen. A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm at the Alta Heights Ward building located at 1475 E. 8600 S. in Sandy. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 11 am with a viewing at 10 am.
