JoAnn Cleveland Denning

JoAnn Cleveland Denning, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece and friend, passed away Feb. 13, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 19, 1937 in SLC, UT to Leola Lillian Pugmire Cleveland Taylor and Elwood J. Cleveland. Graduated 1956 from West High School. Married Gary Gail Dening July 5, 1958. JoAnn was a member of the LDS church and devoted to her family, both immediate and extended. She was a guardian angel to many and loved and cherished them all. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her mother and father and brother Gary Cleveland (Glena). Survived by her husband Gary, sons Kenneth G. Denning and Roger S. Denning, and daughter Denise Denning Engh (Eric); 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Geraldine Hulme (Glen), Richard Cleveland (Marilyn), Cloyd Cleveland, Faye Gailey (Fred), Paul Taylor (Linda) and Charles Taylor (Ellen); aunts and uncles and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Sandy West Stake Center, 8650 S. 220 E. in Sandy, Utah. Friends and family may call at the Church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 Dimple Dell Rd Sandy, UT.
