Joanne Lavonne Peters
Joanne Lavonne Peters, 77, passed away June 26, 2007 in Layton, Utah, due to complications resulting from a heart attack. She was born October 12, 1929 in Speedway, Indiana to Vivian Gwinn and Fred Maxwell Steward. She was married and sealed in the LDS Temple to her 2nd husband, Jack Peters.
She attended Speedway High School and Indiana University.
Joanne held many positions in the LDS church. She enjoyed Family History Work. She attended the LDS temple weekly and loved to sing in the LDS church choir.
She is survived by her 3 children Karen Fry, Michael R. Fry, Suzanne Doyle. 5 grandchildren Stacey Morgan, Erin Doyle, Ryan Doyle, Katie Doyle and Daniel Romney.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Fairways Chapel 1533 N 1075 W in Farmington at 12:00. A viewing will be held the same day prior to the service from 11:00-12:00.
