Joe Whitney

Joe Whitney passed away on May 25, 2014. He was born November 21, 1935 to Lew and Jessie Alleman Whitney in Springville, Utah. He graduated from Springville High School and attended BYU. He married Carla Hendricks on September 16, 1966. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Joe worked in auto body repair, customization, and restoration. He is survived by his wife, Carla; his children: Tyler (Sharon) Whitney, Stacey Whitney, Ryan (Kimberly) Whitney, and Matt (Emily) Whitney; 10 grandchildren; and his brother, William Whitney. A special thanks to loving friends and family, Brighton Hospice, and especially Ryan Steed and many other caretakers who cared for Joe. A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 31, at 1100 W 600 S, Orem, UT, beginning at 10 A.M. Funeral services will begin at 11:00; interment at Orem City Cemetery.
