"Grandpa is tough"
Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away at home on Sunday morning February 6th at 2:21 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Lander, Wyoming on March 22, 1950. Moved to Moab, Utah at the age of 5. Attended and graduated from Grand County High School where he met his wife Patti. Moved to Salt Lake in 1968. Johnnie and Patti were married in 1971.
He was owner of Fossey construction. He retired in 1998 and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and going to the gym where he made many friends.
He is survived by his wife Patti, sons; Travis and Justin (Lisa), his daughter Ashlee, grandchildren; Jaxon and McCall, sister Larraine (Ron), and brothers; Frank (Roxie) and Dan (Peggy).
He was preceded in death by his Mother and a sister and his favorite cat, Salem.
We will celebrate Johnnie's life with an open house on Saturday, February 12th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at The Canyons Church, 1700 East 7000 South. A lite lunch will be served.
Our family would like to give a special thanks to Connie and Bill from Hospice.
