In loving memory of Josefina Gonzalez who entered the world on March 13, 1940 and left us at the age of 66 on March 2, 2007. Josefina Gonzalez was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to Gilberto and Virginia Munoz and was the second youngest of 6 siblings. Josefina leaves behind three daughters, one son and nine grandchildren. Josefina lived a long and fruitful life. In the pursuit of the American Dream, Josefina immigrated to the United States in her early twenties during the sixties. Once here, she had a successful career as a seamstress. In her thirties, she traded in her sewing machine to be a stay-at-home mom to her four children. Josefina was an extremely creative and artistic person. She made beautiful garments for her daughters and grandchildren. She constructed colorful floral decors that brought life into many homes. Josefina was also an exquisite cook, which led to people always asking for seconds. With her hands, Josefina brought joy to many. Josefina enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, and novelas but most of all, she enjoyed helping others. Josefina was a selfless person that put other's needs before hers. She will be greatly missed by all that love her. She will be cherished and always in our hearts.
