Joseph S. Bennett

As the sun was rising over the Wasatch Mountains, early on the morning of April 3, 2008, Joe left us for his next adventure due to a lingering illness.
Joe was born February 24, 1969 in Provo, Utah to Keith and Mary Bennett. He attended Timpview High School. On June 3, 1989 he married his soul mate, Vicki Burgess. They had almost 19 wonderful years together. They had 3 children, Cameron (18), Ashley (12), and Austin (8). The only thing Joe loved more than hunting and fishing was his family. He was a quiet man. We all knew if he had something to say then we had better listen because it was important.
He leaves behind his wife, 3 children, his father, two brothers, David and Mark, and many, many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother Lloyd and his mother-in-law Carma Burgess. "If tears could build a stairway and memories make a lane I'd walk right up to heaven, And bring you home again"
Services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 12:00 PM at the Slate Canyon 7th Ward chapel, 1745 S. State Street, Provo, Utah. Visitation will be held at 10:30 AM at the same location. Interment held at Provo City Cemetery, 900 East State Street, Provo. Online condolences may be given at www.serenicare.com.
