Joseph Ether Wyatt "One tough Texan" Born October 15, 1916 in Cisco, Texas to Joseph E. Wyatt and Berta Stephens Wyatt. After his fathers passing his mother married George Carmichael a policeman in Cisco, Texas. Mr. Carmichael was killed in 1927 in the infamous "Santa Claus Bank Robbery". Joe graduated Cisco High School in 1934 and later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada working for the Pony Express Bus Depot. There he met and married Fawn Irene Jacobson in 1941. A Veteran of WWII, Joe served 4 years in the Army Aircorp, spending the majority of his time in India. Joe & Fawn settled in Provo, Utah with their sons Joseph Stephen Wyatt and David N. Harris. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1979. He worked in the home improvement business for 58 years, at Kool Breeze and Kool Span until the age of 89. He found real enjoyment in working with and meeting new people; he never met a person he didn't like. He is survived by his sons Joseph S. Wyatt, Salt Lake City, Utah and David N. Harris, Mapleton, Utah. Grandchildren, Steve (Cherie) Harris, Mark (Sherry) Harris, Shay (Mickelle) Wyatt and Jessica Wyatt. Joe had 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Fawn Irene Wyatt; daughters-In-law, Sue E. Harris and Jeanine M. Wyatt, a great-grandson and two great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Beehive Homes in Orem, especially Kathy and Bobbi. Also, A Plus Hospice for their tender care of our father. Services will be held at noon on Friday, December 21st at Heatheridge 4th Ward, 50 South 800 East, Orem, Utah. The viewing will be held one hour prior at 11:00 am.
