Jr. Robert Douglas Cypert

Robert Douglas Cypert, Jr., beloved husband and Dad, met his Heavenly Father on July 7, 2009. Bob was born to Robert Douglas Cypert and Nettie Mae Rose Cypert on August 1, 1924 in Whitney, Texas. He felt he was extremely fortunate to have one older brother and one little sister.
Bob joined the U.S. Navy at the tender age of 17 and was an airplane mechanic. While in the Navy, he met the love of his life, Faye Hutton. They were married on August 17, 1946 and spent nearly 63 years living happily together. Bob attended the University of Oklahoma and received his bachelor's degree in Geology. Bob and Faye were also the proud parents of 3 children, Robert III, Vickie, and Timothy (lived on this earth for 2 days). Bob was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church.
Bob spent most of his working life mining uranium for Getty Oil Co outside Casper Wyoming. He later retired in Salt Lake City, Utah. During his retirement, Bob enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends, playing Texas Hold-Em and watching the Fox News Channel.
Bob was a friend to all and always wanted to help others in need. Although he will be sorely missed by his loving wife and daughter, he is reunited in heaven with his 2 sons and others he loved so much. A visitation for friends and family will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at The Center for Spiritual Living, 870 E Union Ave (7145 S) Midvale, Utah. A funeral service and interment will take place July 17, 2009 in Whitney Texas.
