Justin Owen Erekson

Justin was called home to his Heavenly Father on January 28, 2009. Our husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and friend touched each of us in many special ways that will stay in our hearts forever.
Justin was born June 15, 1981 in Provo, Utah to Tim Erekson and Jill Christensen Erekson of Highland, Utah and continued to live there until he graduated from Lone Peak High School in 1999. Later Justin served an LDS Mission in Jacksonville, Florida in 2001. He then met the love of his life Krystle Swenson Erekson and married her on Nov.11, 2006, having a beautiful daughter Jordyn Elizabeth Erekson on May 31, 2007.
Justin enjoyed baseball, playing the piano, tying quilts, but most of all he was our social butterfly, making sure to help all and included everyone. Justin spent many years as a painter. He then became a door to door sales manager traveling throughout the country with his wife and daughter. Justin will be remembered by his wife and daughter as a very loving and compassionate husband and father and will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Krystle Elizabeth Swenson Erekson; daughter Jordyn Elizabeth Erekson; parents Tim and Jill Erekson; sister Tammy Erekson (Jon), brothers T.J. Erekson (Joy), Ryan Erekson (Summer); nephews Bailee, Kanyon, Hunter, and Braxton, nieces, Kaydence, Kabrie and Kaylia; Grandma Georgia Christensen and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
A very special thanks to AF Hospital, onsite EMT, ER and ICU. Funeral Services will be held in PG 4th ward chapel, 1136 W. Sam White Lane (700 S.), Pleasant Grove, UT on Friday, Feb 6, 2009 at 1:00 pm. A viewing will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm prior to services at the same location. Burial at American Fork Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has set up a special fund for his wife and daughter to help with funeral costs at Wells Fargo under the memorial account for Justin Owen Erekson. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
