Karilyn Farnsworth Mehlhoff

Karilyn Farnworth Mehlhoff returned to her Heavenly Father on June 10, 2010 due to a tragic car accident.
Karilyn was born on July 22, 1969, in Provo, Utah to Ivan and Karen Farnworth. She grew up in Orem and graduated from Orem High School. She then graduated from Von Curtis Hair Academy at the top of her class. She married Troy Mehlhoff and together they had 3 boys: Kelton, Kolby, and Kade.
Her boys were her life! She lived every minute for them and loved them more than anything in this world. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was loving, caring, beautiful, kind and funny.
Karilyn was the best hair colorist, stylist, and cutter to all of her many clients. They all felt a loss when she changed her career path and joined the Costco team when it first came to Orem. She has enjoyed her time serving the Costco community and establishing many friendships with her associates and customers.
Karilyn's survivors include her 3 sons; Kelton, Kolby and Kade Mehlhoff. Her parents and her siblings; Jim Farnworth, Shelly (Josh) Kettell, Mike Gappmayer, Cindy Gappmayer Griggs, and Brandon Farnworth. She is leaving behind nieces & nephews and numerous family and friends who loved her dearly. We will all miss her beautiful smile.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 15th at 11:00am, in the LDS church at 800 South and 400 East, Orem. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service and also Monday, June 14th from 6:00-9:00pm at the church. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
