Kathy Livingston Hopper Cochrane passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 at her home in Eagle Mountain, Utah surrounded by her loving family after a valiant fight with cancer. She was born in Dragerton, UT on June 18, 1951 the daughter of Ruby and Arden Livingston, and Donna Carlson. She married John Cochrane in 1983.
Kathy worked at Granite School District and Roosevelt Jr. High as a Special Ed. teacher. As an active member of the LDS church, she served in many callings. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband John Cochrane, mother Donna Carlson, brother Robert (Ellen) Livingston, children; Ryan (April) Hopper, Jayvin (Mara) Hopper, Brittainey (Aaron) Timothy, Shawn (Natalie) Cochrane, sisters; Susan (John) Ouderkirk-Piccolo, Jayne (Mark) Massman and seven grandchildren all of the Salt Lake area. She is also survived by nieces and nephew: Layla Migliori, Chuck Ouderkirk, Joni Sanchez, and Rudi Massman.
Funeral Services will be held at the Eagle's Gate LDS Chapel, 3793 East Rose Heartly Lane, Eagle Mountain, Utah on Wednesday May 2, 2007 at 10:00 am. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday evening May 1 from 6 - 8 pm as well as on Wednesday prior to the service from 9:00 - 9:45 am. Interment and graveside services will be in Wellington Cemetery in Wellington, UT at 2:30pm Wednesday. Online condolences may be submitted to the family at www.serenicare.com.
