Our dear ole' Dad and Pa, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, brother and friend passed away on May 31, 2009 in his home. He was 81 years old.
He was born June 25, 1927 to Frank A. and Maude Bullock Merryweather. He grew up in Provo, Utah on Center Street and later on 300 South.
He left to serve his country in 1945 during the Korean occupation and served from 1945-1947. Later he served a mission in Argentina for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After returning home in 1950, he married his sweetheart, Eloise Mann in 1951. He was a very generous man and took many opportunities to serve others through many church callings. He spent his years working as a plumber, which he thoroughly enjoyed. His greatest joy was his family and he was very proud to be the father of 10 children. He loved to try to get the best of his family and friends and loved telling a good joke.
His wife, Eloise, passed away in 1993 after which he married Geraldine Sharples later that year. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Eloise, his first daughter, Jewel, and sons, Scott and Dee.
He is survived by his children, Sky K (Carrie) Merryweather, Connie M. (Steven) Law, Cory B. (Annette) Merryweather, Dana Lee (Brad) Andersen, Sue Anna (Memo) Tarin, Chris J (Tara) Merryweather and Endyn Merryweather, 30 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and his brother, Frank (JoAnn) Merryweather.
