Kelly Colbath Gordon

Kelly returned to our home in heaven after a bout with ARDS, August 26th, 2009. Kelly was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 3rd, 1964 to Michael and Shirley Colbath. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She married her high school sweetheart, Scot Douglas Gordon, on May 8th, 1981, sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for Time and Eternity in 1996, and recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary.
She loved photography and was a Photolab Manager the past 12 yrs, while employed at Smiths, where she spent 18 yrs and held other management positions. She excelled in every position and was loved by all who got to know her.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Scot and their children and spouses, Cassie and Chris, Coby and Mekenzi; their Grandchildren, Andaya, Marek, Kyler and Olivia. As well as her parents, Michael and Irene Colbath, her brother Michael and his wife Sandy and their children and numerous in-laws; mother, father, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews of whom all loved her dearly.
She thrived on being with her family and loved to travel and see new places when the opportunity arose. She was also a lover of her dogs and cared for them like family. She often said if people were like her dogs what a better world this would be because of their unconditional love. Kelly will be dearly missed by her family and friends and always remembered as a kind and loving woman.
A viewing will be held at 9:00 - 10:30 am and the funeral services to follow at 11:00 am on Monday, Aug. 31st, 2009 at the LDS Veyo Chapel,176 E. Center St., Veyo, Utah.
