Kent Woodhead, our beloved son, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away November 3, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 2, 1956 in Murray, to Charlene Timothy Woodhead with whom he shared a special bond as her only child. Died at his home surrounded by family in South Salt Lake. Married Winona Hemingway January 22, 1977 (D). He loved sharing time with her and his 3 wonderful children. They enjoyed playing board games. Riding his motorcycle, drawing art, watching movies, playing sports, fishing, and camping were some of his many interests. He was a hard working, ambitious man who began his own concrete company. Years of experience and dedication led him to work "his way, or the highway". He will live through his children Jeffry (Jill), Heidi, Ammon. Grandsons Alexx, Carter, Brennan. Preceded in death by grandmother Evelyn Freestone, and grandfather Art Timothy. Special thanks to Aunt Joann & Terry Petersen, Hospice, and all others who helped care for him and lend support in his last days. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Tues. November 6, 2007 at the Magna LDS Lakeridge 6th Ward 3606 S Wing Pointe Dr. A viewing will be held at 10 am prior to the funeral. Under direction of SereniCare Mortuary. The family will be accepting donations in lieu of flowers.
