Kevin Harold Petersen

Kevin Harold Petersen returned to his Heavenly Father on November 3, 2018. He was born on May 4, 1962 in Frederick, Maryland to Bruce and LaRee Petersen. On September 26, 1987 he married Denise Whitmore in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Kevin graduated from Lawrence North High School in Indiana and obtained a Computer Science Degree. Most recently he worked as a supervisor at Andeavor Refinery. Kevin loved fishing, hunting, camping, skiing, hiking, prospecting, weight lifting, cycling, swimming, and spending quality time with his family. He loved the great outdoors and was the King of Adventure. He worked hard and played hard. He was a great husband, father, brother, son, and friend to all those who knew him and loved him. He will remain in our memories and hearts forever, until we meet again.

Surviving Kevin is his wife, Denise; children: Nichole (Adam), Jordan, and Brooke (Jared); grandchildren: Jude, Dean, Viktor, Violet, and Paige + one more on the way; parents: Bruce and LaRee Petersen; and brothers: Jeffrey, Chad, and Jade.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1955 South 350 East, Kaysville, Utah. A viewing and sharing of condolences will be held at the church on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday from 10:30 until the time of the service. Interment will be in Kaysville Cemetery.
