Khammany Simagna

Khammany Simagna passed through the portal of death into eternity at 2:00 pm on January 28th, 2009; Born to Thit Kangna and Khamkhong Simagna in Luang Prabang, Laos on January 14th, 1941; Married September 12th, 1970; Arrived with his family in the U.S. March 31st, 1981. Very educated and sought learning all his life; brought up his children in light and truth by example and precept; enjoyed spending time with and serving his family. A hard working husband and father, he died at his place of employment due to health problems. Baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on January 2nd, 2005 in the eleventh hour of his life and faithfully labored in the Lord's vineyard to the end; later sealed to his eternal companion in the Jordan River Temple on January 20th, 2007; survived by his wife, Kangna Phomhaksa, and sons Keith (Cherilyn), Manny (Maylee), Marcus (Sarah), Noi (Stacey), and Everick and 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Viewing from 09:00a.m. to 10:30a.m. and funeral services from 11:00a.m. to 12:30p.m. Saturday January 31st, 2009 at LDS meetinghouse located at 5425 S 600 W, Murray UT 84123. Burial at Murray City Cemetery.
