LaRae Jackson Snell

Our sweet precious mother, our fathers loving wife and our children's special grandmother LaRae returned home to her Father in Heaven on August 17th, 2010. Our hearts our broken, yet we rejoice knowing you are with your loved ones; you are where there is no more pain. This is not good bye, this is... we will see you, when it is our time.
LaRae was born January 8th, 1934 to Alma D. Jackson and Lariene Jackson, married Francis M. Snell on July 21st, 1960, and was later sealed in the Holy Temple in Salt Lake City, UT. LaRae had many friends in her travels with her husbands work. She served valiantly in many callings in the L.D.S. church. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She received Mother of the Year in 1976 as an outstanding Cub Scout leader.
LaRae is survived by her husband Francis M. Snell of West Jordan, Utah; her children Sherrie (Larry) Cunningham, Debra Snell Hassett, Christine (Ross) Willnow, and Craig L. (Alesha) Snell; and her brother Dwayne (Shirley) Jackson. She was proceeded in death by her oldest son Tim W.Snell, granddaughter little Debbie Hassett, and great grandson Gabriel Z. Cunningham. She has 27 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. They were her Joy!
Funeral services will be held Saturday 8/21/10 at 12:00 p.m. with a viewing at 11:00 a.m. at the L.D.S. Church on 8950 S. 1300 W. Burial at Memorial Estates 3115 East 7800 South.
