Laramie Twain Winn died June 20, 2007. He was born Sept 7, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Larry Twain Winn and Rose Black. Raised by many who tried to help him and loved by many more. Laramie was a talented, smart and an athletic young man who attended Alta High School. He loved his friends, family and his nieces and nephews. He often tried to help many neighbors with acts of service and will be remember for his kindness. President Gordon B. Hinckley stated " As I think about the worry and agony of those whose loved one has taken his own life, I find deep comfort and faith in the Lord's promise and blessing to us who remain in mortality: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 To those many friends, family members, counselors, and teachers who tried to help Laramie and to the Officials of Sandy City we offer thanks and condolences to you and your family. Laramie is survived by many friends and family members who loved him. A viewing will be held June 24, 2007 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Steeple Chase Chapel located at 13350 S. 1750 E. Draper UT.
