Larry Earl Gregerson

St. George, UT- Larry Earl Gregerson, 67 passed away, August 27, 2012, in St. George, UT. He was born September 2, 1944, in St. George, UT, to Duane and Elizabeth Woodbury Wood. He was later sealed to Eugene Hanks and Elizabeth Woodbury Gregerson.
Larry was raised in St. George, UT and Boulder City, NV. He served an honorable mission in Argentina for the LDS Church, and held many calling throughout his life. He graduated from Dixie College, UNLV, and USC Optometry School in 1972. He appreciated good music and books. He married Gloria Joyce Leavitt January 12, 1968, later they were sealed in the St. George temple. Together they adopted and raised five children. After her passing he married Nancy Lee Jensen Easley in the St. George, Temple on September 10, 1983. Larry spent 30 years as an Optometrist in Boulder City, NV. Larry loved St. George so he and Nancy moved back in 2002, where he continued practicing for ten years.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; children, Kathleen (John) Prada, Mary Ann (Bill) Lassa, Robert (Cheryl) Gregerson, Roy (Amy) Gregerson, Bradley (Jill) Gregerson, Christopher Easley, Linsey (Jacob) Worster; 8 grandchildren; and a sister Charlene (Bruce) Reid. He was preceded in death by his: parents; wife Gloria; a brother John; and sister JoWane.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 12:30 p.m., at the Morningside First Ward Chapel. 879 S. River Rd., St. George, UT. Visitations will be held Friday evening, August 31, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday morning prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., both at the chapel. Interment will follow the service at the Bunkerville Cemetery, Bunkerville, NV, at 3:00 p.m. Nevada time. Friends and family are invited to share condolences online at www.serenicare.com .
