Lawrence J. (Larry) Brittain died January 28, 2008 in Provo, Utah with his loving family by his side. He was born December 19, 1936 in Long Beach, California to Joseph and Ada Brittain. Larry spent 2 years in the Naval Reserves and graduated from the University of Washington. For 37 ½ years he worked for Boeing Aerospace in Kent and Seattle, Washington. He worked on SRAM II and B2 Stealth Bomber program. In 1976 he married his "Sweetie", Barbara. In search of a good time and his love of gambling, they moved to Reno, Nevada in 1996.
Larry is survived by his wife Barbara of Reno Nevada; a son Joe Brittain of Sandy, Utah; two daughters, Kim (Jim) Giuntoli of Auburn, Washington and Angela Baugh of Lakewood, Washington; three grandchildren, Kit, Mandi and Meagan.
He will be missed by his friends, family and his favorite furries, Charlie and Ginger.
Private remembrances will be held by the family. Any contributions intended for the family may be made to the Humane Society or any animal rescue organization.
