Lawrence (LARRY) Gallegos
Our loving son, brother, father and grand-father passed away on November 1, 2006. Born August 1, 1943 in San Antonio, Colorado. He was a private yet kind and caring person who was always concerned about his family and friends.
Larry retired as a locomotive engineer from the D & RGW railroad. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran. He excelled as a baseball player having played college ball at CSU in Cedar City. He also excelled as a pool and billiard player, "One of he best around". In his leisure time he loved to play cards, read and go fishing.
He is survived by parents; B.T. and Gen Gallegos, 2 children; Marisa Gallegos and Jack Gallegos, 2 brothers; Leonard (Marylou) and Andy (Rachel), 2 Sisters; Sandra Jean (Allen) and Judy (George) and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday between 1pm and 3pm with a Rosary commencing at 2:30pm, at the SereniCare Funeral Home, 12278 South Lone Peak Parkway in Draper, Utah. Call 255-2801 for directions.
