Lisa Denise Booker was born in Monroe, Louisiana on January 26, 1969 to Lillie and Dwight Booker. She moved to California with her family when she was just two years old.
After the death of her mother, she was raised by family members and a close friend of the family. She loved her family and always looked up to her older brother like he was her dad.
She received her education in Oakland Public Schools. She also received a CNA certificate from Western Community College while living in Pittsburg, CA.
Lisa received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at General Assembly Church in Vallejo, CA. in the late 80's.
After relocating to Ogden, Utah in 1997, Lisa met and married her loving husband Larry Lee on September 5, 2007.
She was a kind-hearted person. She loved taking time out with her friends and family. She loved putting a smile on your face. If someone needed help and she was able, she would go out of her way to provide it.
Lisa worked in various fields helping to provide for her family. She worked in production, housekeeping and in the medical field.
She passed away on March 22, 2010 at the Davis Hospital.
She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
She leaves to mourn; her husband, Larry Lee of Layton, Utah; a son, LaRon Nathaniel (Melinda) of Ogden, Utah; daughters: Fanti Hamilton of Atlanta, GA. and Niari Hamilton of Layton, Utah; three grandchildren: three brothers: Darrell Booker (Cecelia) of Vallejo, CA., Cedric Booker of Ogden, Utah, and Keith Booker of Oakland, CA; one sister, Linda Booker McDonald of Sacramento, CA; one god-daughter, Kalise Hoganson; and fourteen nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by her parents Lillie and Dwight Booker, brother Steven Booker, and one son Etienne Hamilton and one daughter Ashanti Hamilton.
