Lee S. Manwill

Lee Stewart Manwill was born April 12, 1916 to Loran A. and Ruth Stewart Manwill in Naf, Idaho. He served as a Captain in the Army during World War II. He served an LDS mission to England. Married Bertha Elizabeth Shaver in Goldsboro North Carolina in 1945. Later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She died in 1958. Married Marilyn Palmer Hansen in the LDS Temple in 1960 and they combined families.
Active member of the LDS Church. He and Marilyn filled an LDS mission to Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He served as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple for ten years. He was a HAM radio operator for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn. Children: Lee Jr. (Esther), Jeanie Bennett (Craig), Kay Hansen, Ruth Ann Chow (David), Renee Johnson (Merrell), Leonard Hansen (Sandra), Robert (Darla), Marcia, Barbara Thorn (Gary); 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Sisters: Beth Lowe, Ruth Mae McEwan (Doug),
Proceeded in death by parents, wife Bertha, daughter Judy, Brothers Ray, Stewart (Jean), Sisters Edna, Erma White (Arnold), granddaughter Nicole Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6 at 1:30p.m. at the Kenwood Ward, 3080 S. Kenwood St. (1765 E.), Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held Friday, December 5 from 6 until 8 pm and Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the Kenwood Ward.
