Leon Arthur Jeannot

Leon Arthur Jeannot passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 30th, 2013. He was born on March 18th, 1941 to Vincent Paul Jeannot and Irene Strawn. He married Sharon Lee Thompson on June 26th, 1965. His professional career involved working in the mining industry, and after retirement, he worked part time for Hertz in Murray, UT. He was president of the JayCee's in LaVerne, CA and president of the Ashbrook HOA in Midvale, UT. Leon was also very active in the Utah Mining Engineers Society. Leon loved golf, crossword puzzles, emailing friends and family, radio talk shows, and coffee. Leon was a good, kind, fun-loving, fair, honest, generous, hard-working and open-minded man. Leon is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Peter Todd; siblings, Paul (Pam) of Foristell, MO, and Steve (Charlotte) of Rosenberg, Texas; brother-in-law, Michael Thompson of Palm Springs, CA.
