Linda Dexter; 37, of Saratoga Springs, Utah died, Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in Saratoga Springs. She was born November 14, 1970 in Pomona, California, the daughter of Paul Peterson and Margery Jennings Peterson. Linda attended schools in American Fork, Utah. She graduated from American Fork High School. While at American Fork High School she participated in Music and Theatre. She was always playing for, singing with or leading music in performances. She was a cast member in the plays, South Pacific and Camelot. She continued her education at Utah Valley State College in Orem, Utah On July 18, 1991, she married Kevin A. Dexter in the St. George LDS Temple. She followed Kevin as he served in the military. They had five children; Laura, Cameron, Sara, Connor and Elizabeth. She is survived by her husband, her five children, her parents, her brothers and sisters; David (Katie) Peterson, Grant (Jolynn) Peterson, Annette (Jeff) Forsyth and Jonathan (Chantal) Peterson and her grandmother: Anne Jennings. Linda loved music and to make things beautiful. She sang with the Mormon Youth Choir in Salt Lake City and accompanied and sang for the UVSC LDS Institute Show Choir. She enjoyed growing flowers, drawing, painting and decorating her home. While her husband was serving his country, she helped to create an organization to improve the situation and benefits for the families of deployed soldiers. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she served in the Relief Society in her ward. She often accompanied or directed music in Primary and Relief Society meetings. Linda had worked as a nanny in New York City and later at Soft Copy in Orem, Utah. The family will meet with friends on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Harvest Hills LDS 4th Ward Chapel in Saratoga Springs (270 W. Harvest Boulevard, Saratoga Springs) from 6 to 8:00 p.m. They will meet again on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the Harvest Hills LDS 4th Ward Chapel followed by the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
