Linda Marian Bischoff Olson Linda Marian Bischoff Olson, our fun and beautiful wife and mother, quietly left us on October 18, 2008, from complications of a brain tumor. Linda was born on November 28, 1942 in Riverside, California to Dean Edward Bischoff and Marian Weeks Bischoff. Linda graduated from North Cache High School and attended Utah State University where she met her dearly loved husband, Bill Olson. They were married in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple, on March 15, 1963. Linda and Bill eventually settled in Grants Pass, Oregon for 41 years where they raised six children. They moved to Highland, Utah in September 2007. She was an amazing example of being a kind and good wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. To know her was to love her. She loved to make people laugh and she always had an amazing smile on her face even when she was sleeping. She never took herself too seriously and could make everyone she met feel like they were her best friend. She dedicated her life to serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One of the best things she said she ever did was to serve as a Church Education Missionary with her husband, in Durban, South Africa, from 2002 to '04. She also loved teaching early morning seminary for eight years and being a stake Young Women's President in Oregon prior to moving to Utah. She loved being a grandmother and always made sure that each one of her grandchildren felt loved and important. She had many interests including teaching, nature, walking, painting, teaching piano lessons, traveling, singing, and playing the organ. Linda is survived by her husband, Bill Olson, children, Marianne(Todd) Stevens, Janette (Bill) Richan and Julee (Greg) Abel, Neil Olson, Jared (Leslee) Olson and Brian (Shalyse) Olson. Also survived by her mother, Marian Bischoff, three sisters, two brothers, 19 grandchildren (with one on the way) three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by Dean E. Bischoff, father, her infant son, Vance William Olson and by brothers-in law, Robert Olson, Douglas Cox, and sister-in-law, Sherri Bischoff. Services will be held on Saturday, October 25, at 11 a.m. at the Highland West Stake Building, 11605 N. 6000 W. Prior to the service a viewing will be held at the same building from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The burial service will be held at the Providence City Cemetery in River Heights, Utah.
