Lindsay John Carter

Lindsay John Carter, loving husband, father, grandfather, great - grandfather and friend to many, passed away August 28th, 2007 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 28th, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lindsay and Catherine Ellen Carter.
Lindsay married his eternal companion Linda Lee McIntyre, September 23, 1963, later sealed in the temple.
Lindsay had a passion for life and enjoyed many hobbies like square dancing, riding motorcycles, camping, rocks and gems, and doing temple work. He retired from Associated Foods after 34 years of service.
Survived by wife, Linda Carter, children; Cathy Carter, Michael (Nikki) Carter, and Tamera (Mark) Podschweit and grandchildren; Amanda (Spencer), Brittany, Tasha, Shane, Chris, Anna, Lindsey and great - grandchildren; Kaylynn, Mason, Villiami, David and Lilly. Proceeded in death by his parents, and son, Lindsay John Carter JR. A viewing will be held Friday, August 31 at 7 p.m at the Kearns 6th ward, located at 4260 W 5215 S in Kearns. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 1 at 12:30 am, with an additional viewing one hour prior to the service at 11:30 am.
