Lita Willmore

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Lita Willmore, age 85, died May 13,2008 of natural causes. Lita was born March 17, 1923 in Tampico, Mexico. She came to the United States as a young adult, married and had four children. She was proud to be a naturalized citizen and was active in community affairs.
Lita was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a deep faith. She served in many callings including as a missionary in the Arcadia, California mission and as a temple worker in the Houston Temple.
Lita is survived by her brother, Manuel Davila, Tucson; four children, Brenda (Steve) Williamson, Ted (Suzanne) Willmore, Ernie (Karen) Willmore, Myrna (Rick) Pluff-Owen; 14 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at the Canyon Rim Care Center for their loving care of Lita.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, where she will be interred.
