Lorin E. Leming passed away on March 7, 2011. He was born November 14, 1935 in Ontario, California to James Elmer and Elaine Moss Leming. Lorin married his one and only love June Ruth Langton Leming on July 12, 1987. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity on December 27, 1991.
He is survived by his wife, June, his sons Kenneth Leming, Greg Sandquist, Captain Steven Sandquist, Keith Sandquist and Doug Sandquist, and his daughters Virginia Leming Black and Elaine Leming Urry. He was preceded in death by a son Lorin E. Leming, Jr. (Shorty) and his parents and brother, Jess Leming.
Lorin served in the Army in the Korean Conflict. He received an honorable discharge on April 20, 1956. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and a Presidential Citation. He was a long haul truck driver for over 40 years and had a perfect driving record. He loved to take June along with him. Lorin was a member of the LDS Church and held many callings. He loved to go camping and to be at home with June.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Midvalley First Ward, 1050 Chapel Hill Road (7400 S.), Midvale, Utah at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing prior at 11:45 a.m. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3111 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
