Louis Stanley Turany

Louis Stanley Turany, our beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend passed away peacefully on March 21, 2010. Louis was born on November 20, 1942 in Barberton, Ohio to Louis Turany and Edith Gesaman. He was later married to Nancy Turany.
As a young man, Louis served his country in the U.S. Army for four years in the 82nd Airborne. He later retired from D.S.I in Siren, Wisconsin. Among his hobbies, he loved music; he played guitar for over 30 years. He was a good "Pa" and we all loved him.
Louis is survived by his children, Michael (Sherri) Turany; Jody Van Swearingen; Abe Turany; and Dacia Lynn Van Den Heuvel. He is also survived by his sister Nancy (Bob) Johnson and brother Bruce (Nadine) Jolly. Louis is preceded in death by his wife Nancy.
The family would like to give a special 'thank you' to the Veterans Administration in Salt Lake, Federal Heights Rehab & Nursing, Wasatch Care Center, Ogden's Golden Hours Senior Center, and Summit Home Health & Hospice.
