Lukas Van Ercanbrack, son of Van Richard and Eva Irene King Ercanbrack, was born Thursday, August 14, 1980 in Provo, Utah and passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Lukas grew up among family and friends in Lindon, Utah graduating from Pleasant Grove High School. He attended one year of college at BYUI and then served two years as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Korea Seoul West mission. Following his mission, Lukas met and married MeiLi Arjana. He completed his education at Penn State receiving a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Lukas and MeiLi moved to Fort Collins, CO and were divorced. In the late fall of 2011, Lukas moved to Heber City, UT where he was living at the time of his death.
Lukas is survived by his parents Van & Eva Ercanbrack, his former wife MeiLi, children Matthew, Arin, Kaly and Evan, siblings Mary Andrus (Shane), Emily Rich (Timothy), Sarah Parker (Jared), Deboni Park (Andrew), Creighton Ercanbrack (Michelle) and Katie Ercanbrack plus 14 nieces and nephews. Lukas is also survived by his grandfather Wendell A. King and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A family memorial service will be held at the Lindon 14th Ward Chapel at noon on Thursday, February 16, 2012. Prior to the family service friends are welcome to greet the family beginning at 11:15am. Following the family service Lukas will be buried at the Lindon City Cemetary.
