Lynn Baird Reed

Lynn Baird Reed passed away August 27, 2012. Lynn was born June 27, 1956 to LaFawn Lundberg and John David Reed.
In 1994 Lynn married Marci Renee Neves in Fillmore, Utah.
Throughout his life, Lynn attended special education schools and, when able, worked as a dishwasher at the Utah Developmental Center in American Fork, Utah for 4 years, and worked at Smith's as a bagger. Lynn had the special opportunity to take part in the Special Olympics, where he won a silver medal in basketball and a bronze medal in bowling. Some of his hobbies, interests and expressions of love included Special Olympics basketball, bowling and swimming; bike riding and making and selling dream catchers.
Lynn is preceded in death by his birth parents, LaFawn Lundberg and John David Reed. He is survived by his wife Marci; adoptive parents Connie Joseph Maez; siblings Cora, Monte, Ronald, Clarence, Jack, Bobbie (Reed), Mike, John, Tina, Connie Jo (Maez). Other survivors include Joseph and Connie Maez, Mike, John, Tina, Connie Jo. Clarence, Jack, and Bobbie. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30th at 11:00 am, at the North Park 1st Ward Chapel - 101 W. 800 N., Provo, UT. Friends and family are welcome to call at a viewing prior to services from 10:00 - 10:45 am. Interment will take place at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. A special thanks to all the rescue and homeless shelter and Food Coalition workers who have helped Marci and Lynn all these years.
