On Wednesday, January 27, 2011, Margaret Daley (Margie) passed away from this life and into her Savior's loving arms. Margie's fun, vibrant and loving personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Margie was born in Payson, Utah on May 31, 1963 to Orin Daniels Daley and Margaret Cope. She was the eighth of 11 children. She was raised in Payson and Vernal, Utah. She graduated from Uintah High School in 1981 where she was active in volleyball, basketball and softball. She loved sports and loved to compete.
Margie worked and attended college in California and graduated as a respiratory therapist. During her career she worked as a respiratory therapist in various hospitals around the Salt Lake valley. Margie excelled at her job and was well respected by all who worked with her.
Making friends wherever she went is what Margie did best. She leaves behind many friends and family; her partner of seven years, Lori Socher and step-son, Brenden (West Jordan, UT); her mother, Margaret (Spanish Fork UT); Siblings: Mike (Debra) Tucson, AZ; Kathleen Campbell (Remon) West Valley City, UT; Dan (Tana) Clearfield, UT; Jeff Williams, Magna, UT; Cheryl Orr (Dee) Rexburg, ID; Gordon, Brigham City, UT; Art (Cecile) Houston, TX; Jeniel Kimball, Spanish Fork, UT; Angela Acocks (Kerry) Tooele, UT; Aaron (Lesley) Saratoga Springs, UT. Margie is survived by several nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Margie is also survived by her Kingston kids: Ryan, Kourtney, Kameron and Kaleb. She is preceded in death by her father, a sister, Loreen Williams and a sister in law, Eileen Daley.
Friends and family can call on the family at a viewing to be held at the Sunset Ridge 9th Ward Chapel; 8137 South Echo View Drive (6250 West), West Jordan; on Wednesday February 2, 2011 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the same chapel on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. before funeral services. Interment will follow the services at the Payson Cemetery.
