Margaret "Midge" Ficarra

Margaret "Midge" Ficarra, of Niagara Falls, NY, went home to be with our Lord on October 12, 2011, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 23, 1943 to the late John and Frances (Litten) Nichols.
Mrs. Ficarra was predeceased by her adoring husband of 44 years, Frank Ficarra, Sr. of Lockport, NY. Together they owned and operated Peg's Submarine House for almost 30 years. It was their great pleasure to know and serve their loyal customers. After retiring, they traveled together throughout the United States before settling in Hurricane, Utah.
Midge loved to cook, shop and travel. Her passion and legacy was to please people with her culinary ability. She was a magnificent cook! She enjoyed time with her family, especially being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She fostered a love for God and his family at Salt Lake Christian Center of Salt Lake City, UT; The Fair Haven's Church of North Tonawanda, NY; and the Oasis World Outreach Center of Kenmore, NY.
She will be sincerely missed by her children, David (Deborah) Hazel of Rapid City, SD, Sherry (Nicholas) Jankowski of Grand Island, NY, Patti (William) Andrews of Midvale, UT, Nevin (Lisa) Hazel of Niagara Falls, NY, Frankie (Marie) Ficarra of Pleasant Grove, UT; 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 more great-grandchildren on the way! She was predeceased by her former husband, David Hazel and her father-in-law, the Rev. Harry Hazel.
Mom, we will love you always and forever.
