Margaret Pauline Ball Pollock Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully March 20, 2010. Pauline was born November 4, 1922 in McClure, Virginia, the first-born daughter of Andrew and Oma Ball. Shereceived her early education at Upper Mill Creek School and graduated from Park County High School in 1941.She earned her teacher's certificate from Western Montana College in 1942 and went on to graduate from EasternMontana College of Education in 1963.Pauline married Walter Pollock on December 24, 1945.Pauline had a deep faith in God; she was raised in the Baptist Church but cherished ideas from many faiths and always respected others' beliefs.She valued education and encouraged her daughters to be serious students .She was an accomplished artist and seamstress, a wonderful cook and housekeeper. Pauline loved the outdoors,hiking, and her horses, Bambi and Rocky and took pleasure in dancing and reading her cowboy poetry.She passed on her artistic talents and love of teaching to her two grand-daughters who are teachers themselvesand who excel in dance and art.Pauline is survived by her daughters, Denise Marie Pollock of Seattle, WA and Connie Jean Davis and husbandJef Davis of Sandy, UT; grand-children Cynthia Davis, Sarah Gonsur (Jim), and Amelia Davis; great-grandchildrenWill James Gonsur and Carina Elise Gonsur and sister Ruth MacDonald.Condolences may be sent to www.SereniCare.com.
