Maria Johanna VanOs McArthur

Maria Johanna VanOs Born, March 23, 1929 in Vlaardingen, Netherlands to Matthias VanOs and Maria Vroegh. Succeeded by her husband Arthur C. McArthur, her children: John, Rick, Sarah, Barney, Peter, and Ruth, sister, Aartje VanOs Smith, and brother Matthias VanOs. Two children deceased Willard and Roger. Maria was a Teacher and Principal in the Netherlands. She worked at the Shriner's Hospital and taught school for disabled children. Maria advocated for Veterans and was active in senior activities at the Holiday Senior Center. She was loved by everyone who knew her. A visitation will be held Sunday November 11th at SereniCare Funeral Home, located 12278 Lone Peak Pkwy Set. 102 in Draper beginning at 11am. A funeral Service will be held later that day at the Woods on Ninth Reception Hall, located 6775 S. 900 E. in Midvale beginning at 3pm.
