Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Maria Isabel Gomez Shaw, 54, passed away peacefully at home in West Point, Utah on November 29, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 29, 1953 in Soria, Spain to Victor Buberos and Enselma Chamarro Gomez.
Isabel loved fashion. She was educated in fashion design in the Northern Pyrenees, Spain. She owned and operated her own alterations business, specializing in wedding, prom and military clothing. But most of all, she loved her family. She also loved gardening and shopping. Isabel was a very generous and kind woman, mother and friend. She had a unique sense of humor and knew how to make everyone smile.
Isabel will be missed by her three children; daughter Jenny Savage and sons James Jay Shaw and Joshua Shaw. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Kortny, Aubry and Nico.
She will also be missed by Robert Taylor, Matt Goodfellow, Jake Savage, employees of Kathleens Bridal, Dani Mcguire, Kristen Jensen, Jesus Gomez, Ana Ruiz, Paquita Wilber and her family in Spain.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the West Point 7th Ward, 550 North 2300 West, in West Point, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m., where friends and family may call. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City.
