Marian Freckelton Patterson

Marian passed away on June 1, 2011 surrounded by her family. Born September 21, 1922, in Ogden, Utah, the middle daughter of three daughters to Adam Stewart Freckelton and Olive Athalia McEntire.
She graduated from South High School on June 5, 1941 with her younger sister, Olive Anne in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked for Auerbach's, ZCMI and Shopko. She loved the people with whom she worked and enjoyed helping the public.
She married Robert Scott Patterson on November 13, 1946. She was a member of the LDS church and enjoyed the blessing she found there. When she was physically able, she enjoyed going to the temple.
She is survived by her three children, Sally Anne Brown-Yannone, Janice Lee Patrick, and Robert Scott Patterson II. and her sisters Margaret Barr, Utah and Olive Anne Moore, California. She was preceded in death by her divorced husband Scott, son-in-law Calvin Patrick, and her parents. She has 9 grandsons and 5 great-grandchildren. The children were the joy of her life.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the South Jordan 9th Ward, 9750 South 2200 West in South Jordan. A viewing will be held one-hour prior to services at the church, where friends and family may call. Interment will follow at Ogden City Cemetery.
