Marilyn Palmer Ellsworth passed away Saturday December 15, 2007 surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 26, 1927 in Los Angeles California to Lowell Smith Palmer and Helen Lamar Dalton. She married Elmer A. Ellsworth in the Mesa Arizona temple. Together they had seven children. They later divorced. She grew up in California and then moved to Utah. She graduated from BYU with a Bachelors degree in education and taught school for many years. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, served in many callings and served two mission in Mexico and North Carolina. She was a temple worker and loved to do genealogy.
She is survived by her children, Ken Ellsworth of Vancouver WA, Tami and Mike Jasper of Orem UT, Mark and Marilyn Ellsworth of Springville UT, Timothy and Lillian Ellsworth of Provo, UT, Andrew and Jennifer Ellsworth of Springville UT, Michelle and Jason Thomas of Minnesota, a brother Edward Palmer of Redlands CA, sisters Helen Snelgrove (Phil) of Orem UT, Linda Fackrell (Carlos) of Draper UT, sister in law Pamela Hunt Palmer of Hawaii, 32 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Daniel Ellsworth, Brother Michael Palmer and sister in law Marilyn Ballard Palmer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 19, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Lakeridge LDS church- 575 S 400 W Orem Utah. A viewing will be held that same day from 9:30 am to 10:45 at the church. Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted to www.serenicare.com
