Mark LeRoy Ludwig, born August 4, 1958, passed away Monday morning August 27, 2007 after a short battle with cancer. Mark was a resident of Orem, Utah and was employed by KraftMaid Cabinetry in West Jordan. Mark loved life and courageously battled to the end. He was active member of the LDS church, was active in the LDS Singles Community and loved to participate in sports, especially volleyball.
Mark loved his children and particularly enjoyed coaching them throughout the years as they participated in various programs. He was also very attentive and sensitive to the needs of his parents and could often be found rendering service. When they needed him, he responded.
Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Ann and his niece Rebecca. He was formerly married to Marie (Menna) Cheney, with whom he had four children, Michael 20,(currently serving an LDS Mission in the Washington DC South Mission), Jessica 17, Elizabeth 13 and Thomas 11 of Pleasant Grove. He is also survived by his parents Eugene and Betty Ludwig of Payson, siblings Karl Ludwig (Diana) of Stevens, PA, Marie Miller (Dean) of Payson, Raye Yarn (Gary) of Pleasant Grove, Faye Cunningham (Shane) of Medford, OR, Charles Ludwig (Renae) of TN, Bruce Ludwig (Louann) of Myerstown, PA and Frederick Ludwig (Patty) of Maize, KS and 32 nieces and nephews, 5 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am at the Cherry Hill 4th Ward at 1650 S 200 E Orem, Utah on Saturday September 1st. Friends and family are invited to a viewing prior to the start of the funeral beginning at 9:30 am. Mark was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
