Maxine Lowe Baum

Maxine Lowe Baum passed away in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 10th 2008 after her battle with lung cancer.
She was born February 2, 1937 in Provo, Utah to Reed Eddgertson Lowe and Vilda Leavitt Lowe.
She attended school in Provo and later completed night school and was a proud 1975 graduate of Provo High. She married her friend Billy (William Udell) Baum on August 28, 1953.
Maxine loved the beauty of the great outdoors, endless music, dancing and without doubt loved to laugh 'big time'!
She is survived by seven children and spouses; her sons Rocky William Baum, Eureka; Rusty (Lonnie Jack) and Maggie Baum, Nephi; Jerrod William Baum, White Deer, Pennsylvania and her daughters Kerry and Dave Dowsett, American Fork; Terry and Scott Skeem, Tridell; Kim and Richard Blevins, Evanston, Wyoming; Vicky and Bob Fulton, Cedar City.
She is also survived by her two best friends Billy Baum, Eureka and Nina Millett, Pleasant Grove. Twenty three Grandchildren; twenty five Great-Grandchildren and an endless number of kids that embraced her as their mother and grandmother; four brothers and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Mother, one brother and one sister.
The family would like to give special thanks to the endless caring, loving medical staff, especially the staff at the Cancer Center in the Central Utah Clinic, that affected our Mom's life. Special thanks to Dr. Steven Wallentine, Kathy Paprocki and the staff through VistaCare Hospice.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 14th at the Lakeside 1st Ward Church, 131 South 1600 West, Provo from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral services will be held at the same address the following morning, Monday the 15th of December at 11:00 am, viewing from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Provo Cemetery, 610 South State.
