Melvin Gilbert Britton

Melvin Gilbert Britton, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, was called home on 12/3/2012, born on 3/2/1956. Melvin was passionate about his family and loved being around them. He was a loving and caring son to his mother, whom he helped each day. He always made sure that she was happy, and enjoyed being there for the Medina family. He loved his dog Jazz, whom he named after the Utah Jazz. He was a big fan of sports; his favorite teams were the Utah Jazz, Minnesota Vikings, and Cincinnati Reds. He was a priest in his priesthood. He enjoyed working on vehicles; he had great knowledge about them and would like to help anyone. Melvin is survived by his mother Maxine, son Maurice, brothers Craig, Fred, Denny, Daniel, and Jay, sisters Mickey, and Charlotte. His great reunion will include his father, grandparents, nephew, and bother. Melvin will be deeply missed. Services will be held at the Taylorsville Stake Center on 4800 S 1365 W at 1pm on 12/7/2012 with a luncheon after. Flowers and condolences can be sent to this location.
