Merrill James Langford Jr. was born in El Paso, Texas on August 27th, 1953. He was the firstborn to Merrill James Langford Sr. and Jennie Robinson. He attended Viewmont High School, Class of '71. Being in the workforce most of his life as an exceptional welder. He was always adventurous and active. He enjoyed windsurfing, boating, hiking, skiing, biking, riding motorcycles, rollerblading, and loved playing his keyboards. He also loved getting lost on purpose and taking the scenic route. He recently had gotten active in the LDS faith, and had a memorable face in his community. His children, grandchild, family, and friends were the center of his life. He passed away October 10, 2011 due to Hepatitis C. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
Beloved son, brother to six, father of three, grandfather of one, and survived by all. Children: James, Jennifer, and Jamie. Grandchild: Bryson. Siblings: Mark, Janette, Bill, Linda, Jennie, and Minnie.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing at 9:00 to 10:45 am Saturday, October 15, 2011. Funeral to follow at 11:00 am. Services will be held at the Kimball Ward LDS Building at 2280 S. 300 E. Salt Lake City. Gravesite service and internment will follow at Elysian Garden, 1075 E. 4580 S. Salt Lake City.
