Michael David Stewart (April 15, 1957 - October 26, 2007) Michael David Stewart passed away on October 26, 2007 following a short illness. Mikes passions included family barbeques, the outdoors, and dog training. One of his fondest memories was of a fishing trip where he thought he hooked 'the big one' only to discover it was his son-in-law, Pat, who hooked Mike's line and was pulling on it behind his back. A favorite family memory was made when Mike was using the weed burner and held the torch too long at an evergreen tree causing 'the burning tree incident' in the neighborhood. Weather working in the yard or 'organizing' in his garage, Mike did the things he wanted and enjoyed each moment he lived. Mike's biggest attribute was his passion for helping people who were down on their luck. Mike spent countless hours with his grandchildren and enjoyed seeing them develop and grow. Mike was born in Los Angeles, CA, to Gloria Neely and David Stewart. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers Scott (Karen) and Todd (Carol) and a sister Meg (Mike); wife Lida; a daughter Amanda; Step-Children Stormi (Pat), Windi and Talin (Eddie), numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. No public services are scheduled, however the family is making a scrapbook of memories. Anyone wishing to contribute to the scrapbook may post online through www.serenicare.com.
