NATIVIDAD "NATI" MARTINEZ VIERA LOZANO
Nati was born January 26, 1919, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, daughter of Manuel Martinez and Carmen Viera.
After being orphaned at an early age, she migrated to Utah in 1947.
She married Pablo Yglesia Lozano on June 29, 1957 in Bingham Canyon, Utah.
Loving mother of 20 children, she was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and 14 of her children, Hector, Roque, Felix, Jesus, Johnny, Lucy, Pablo and 6 who died in infancy.
Her surviving children include: George (Maricruz) Benitez, José© (Nancy) Sanchez, Carmen (Hector) Cintron, José© (Monica) Lozano, Heriberto (Kimm) Lozano, Maria Beauchamp, and Martha Beauchamp. Nati has 38 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
Nati was a member of the Guadalupana Society. Nati opened her home and her heart and shared all that she had not only with her children and their friends but with her own friends' children and others as well.
She was known through the metropolitan area for her generosity in offering food and shelter to everyone.
Viewing Fri Oct 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Sat Oct 11 from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Funeral Sat 11:00 a.m. Mountain View Christian Assembly 8000 South 300 East, Midvale, Utah.
Interment in the Midvale City Cemetery.
