Neldon John DeBoer

1946-2012 Neldon John DeBoer, age 66, passed away December 21, 2012 at UVRMC in Provo, Utah. He was born on January 28, 1946 in Ogden, Utah to John and Merline Staheli DeBoer. He graduated from Provo High in 1964 and then served an LDS mission in the Netherlands from 1965-1968. He married Johanna (Hanny) van der Linde in the Salt Lake Temple on December 20, 1968. After earning associate's degrees in business and electrical engineering at Utah Technical College, he started Digital Telephone Company. In his spare time, Neldon loved hunting, fishing, camping, scouting, telling stories, genealogy, and spending time with his family. He is survived by Johanna, his wife of 44 years, and 4 children, Candice DeBoer, Kimberly Whitney, Clinton John "CJ" DeBoer, Kesli Jensen; as well as 7 grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Colleen Bowles and Sharon Miller. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Orem Utah Orchard Stake at 810 East 600 North. Friends may call at the church from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
